Is 2K sports really for sale?  Would EA buy them out and control the Sports niche once again?  It is being rumored that 2k sports could possibly be up for sale for $200 million.  I’m sure that is chump change to a giant like EA Sports.  The would be able to controle the sporgs gaming niche as they did before 2k sports first appeared in the gaming world.

While analysts say this isn’t likely, you have to wonder if 2k is looking at selling out and how their upcoming games will pan out.  I like competition between gaming companies so I hope 2k sports does not sell out and continue to put out good sports games to compete with EA Sports.
